The Story of "Ārpus Burbuļa" (Outside the Bubble)

The association "Ārpus Burbuļa" was born from genuine youth energy — the kind that emerges when someone finally tells you, "Your opinion matters."Viss sākās ar

It all began with the Erasmus+ participation project "Ārpus burbuļa," which over the course of six months became a laboratory of our voices, emotions, and experiences.

We — young people from Jelgava municipality — started with a simple idea: to speak about what truly matters to young people. We created podcasts on topics that usually remain in the background.

Each episode was like an open window into the world of young people — from mental health to opportunities, from dreams to fears.
And what began as a small project grew into something bigger.

We saw young people's eyes light up, ideas take shape, mindsets change — and we realized that this movement could not end with the final episode.

And so, in 2025, the association "Ārpus Burbuļa" was founded — a place where that spark continues to burn.
We help young people not only to speak, but to be heard.
We create projects that allow them to grow, take action, make mistakes, and try again.
We encourage participation in society, the realization of personal ideas, and meaningful influence on what happens around them.

"Ārpus Burbuļa" is not just a name — it is a story about the courage to step outside the comfort zone, about honesty with oneself, and about the belief that every voice can create change.
We are a community that believes in young people.

Because when they believe in themselves — the world begins to move.
